“On October 21st I will be running the Newburyport Half Marathon as a fundraiser for the AGC Scholarship Foundation. AGC is a non-profit group that is dedicated to providing scholarships to those struggling with infertility. Infertility affects one in eight couples; odds are that you know somebody, a family member/friend/colleague, that is having difficulty conceiving. As a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist at Boston IVF, my goal is to help couples and individuals with infertility fulfill the dream of parenthood. The emotional, physical, and financial challenges of infertility can be overwhelming. Many insurance companies do not cover fertility treatments, the cost of which can make this dream unobtainable.
