FAQ:
Who can apply?
Applicants must have a medical diagnosis of infertility. AGC Scholarship Foundation will be contacting your clinic or adoption agency to verify that you are or were a patient and/or client.
What should my essay say?
The essay portion of the application is the most important part. The board of directors are not looking for the best writer. They will be reading your story. Help them connect to you through your essay. Sappy is ok. Straight forward is ok. We want to know who you are, what you have been through and how we can help you.
How is an awardee selected?
The board of directors (there are 4 board members) will be reviewing each application. Scholarships granted will be selected and agreed upon with all of the board members. There are no specific criteria for selection (other than the ones stated above)- which is why your essay is so important.
If I’m not selected can I reapply during the next open application period?
Absolutely.
